CALL FOR PAPERS CEJUD/ANPPREV No. 01/2026 – 2nd SCIENTIFIC ARTICLE CONTEST OF THE ANPPREV SOCIAL SECURITY JOURNAL (RASS)
ANPPREV – the National Association of Federal Public Attorneys and Public Lawyers – hereby publishes this call, which sets out the rules for the 2nd Scientific Article Contest, aimed at encouraging academic production and recognizing excellence in research in the fields of Social Security and Public Law, under the title:
“Mediation, Conciliation and Public Policies”
In the contemporary legal landscape, mediation and conciliation have become established as essential instruments for access to justice and for the realization of social rights. These consensual dispute-resolution mechanisms go beyond mere de-judicialization, constituting genuine public policies aimed at social pacification and at rationalizing the delivery of judicial services.
In the field of Social Security, the adoption of conciliatory practices has produced significant results in resolving pension, social assistance and health claims, reducing waiting times for insured persons and helping to relieve the burden on the Judiciary. The experience of the Judicial Centers for Conflict Resolution and Citizenship (CEJUSCs) and of the Conciliation Chambers of the Office of the Attorney General of the Union (AGU) demonstrates the transformative potential of these practices.
Against this backdrop, this prize-awarding call for papers offers a space for reflection and debate on the challenges and opportunities of mediation and conciliation as public policies applied to Social Security, exploring topics such as self-composition (amicable settlement) in social security matters, the role of Public Advocacy in consensual methods, de-judicialization, transparency, digital inclusion in conciliation procedures, the protection of insured persons’ data, and innovation in conflict-management models, in dialogue with the areas of Social Security.
